Contracts Manager
Our contracts managers direct pre-contract preparations, assignments and delivery of construction and fit-out projects; providing leadership, technical guidance, programming, financial monitoring and contract control.
The position demands a commercial mindset, careful attention to detail and involves reaching out and building long-term productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and the extended DDI team.
The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 5 years' experience of managing projects, construction methods, HSE and technology including materials.

Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control, including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.

Experience of pre-qualification and tendering processes for a number of multi-disciplined projects.

Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to call, connect and interact with customers, suppliers and partners.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Fast Track and Lean Construction experience will be valuable.

Problem solving, analytical thinking and time management skills are essential.

Site Manager
Our Site Managers are critical to our success. They are the main site contact for the contracts manager, clients, subcontractors and other trades. They have a can-do attitude, are personable but disciplined and enjoy the dynamic nature of our construction and fit-out projects which are typically multi-disciplined and fast-track.
The position demands a commercial mindset, careful attention to detail and involves reaching out and building long-term productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and the extended DDI team.
The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 5 years' experience of managing projects, construction methods, HSE and technology including materials.

A solid understanding of building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes, plumbing codes as they relate to construction and fit-out projects.

A commercial approach to site management, with the ability to identify cost savings and understand budget issues.

Key skills in setting out and coordination.

A good eye for detail be quality-driven.

Excellent people management skills with the ability to instruct staff, deal with difficult staffing situations and maintain a productive, disciplined and positive working environment.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Fast Track and Lean Construction experience will be valuable.
